Hamish McKenna.  I was born in a small country village in Scotland. After working through my early adult life in Glasgow I travelled extensively in Europe and eventually emigrated to Australia. I am influenced by, and am an avid reader of, Dean Koontz, Robert Ludlum, Steven King, Agatha Christie, Jules Verne and Robert Louis Stevenson. Other people that have influenced my life and my way of thinking are David Attenborough, Steve Irwin, Jacques Cousteau. I have a love of natural history and a keen interest in the history of Scotland right back to the times of the Picts.
